2019 IRA Contribution Due
April 15, 2020
IRA contribution and corrective distribution for 2019 are eligible for automatic postponement to July 15, 2020, pursuant to Notice 2020-18 and Notice 2020-23. Taxpayers eligible for IRA contribution have until April 15 to make a contribution for 2019. Excess IRA contributions for 2019, on the other hand, should be withdrawn with related earnings by the due date of your return, including extensions, to avoid the excess contribution penalty.
